Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of APIModule ("we", "us", "our"), a unified API gateway that provides access to third-party large language models through a single OpenAI-compatible endpoint. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

APIModule provides programmatic access to AI models hosted by third-party providers, billed on a pay-as-you-go basis. We act as a routing and billing layer; the underlying model outputs are generated by the respective upstream providers.

2. Accounts & API Keys

• You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your API keys confidential.
• Do not share, resell, or expose your API keys. We may revoke keys that are abused or leaked.
• You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current.

3. Billing & Payment

• The service is prepaid: you top up a balance, and each API call deducts from it at the published per-model rates (input, output, and cache-hit prices per 1M tokens).
• Prices are shown on our pricing page and may change with notice; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
• Top-ups are made via Stripe or cryptocurrency. Balances do not expire while your account is in good standing.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or at our discretion for unused balance.

4. Acceptable Use

• You must comply with all applicable laws and the usage policies of the upstream model providers.
• You may not use the service to generate unlawful, harmful, or infringing content, or to attack, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the platform.
• We may suspend accounts that violate this section, without refund of the remaining balance used for abusive traffic.

5. Availability & Changes

We aim for high availability with automatic failover, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the service will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the content of model outputs.

7. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the service or by email. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
